Pros: The work environment was positive and encouraging. | Cons: Pay structure was clear however the application of the pay structure became questionable after client assignment. The invoices were not clear to hours worked and it did not allow for me to clearly see what was being paid.

Magic's focus is more on the cut of your salary
Pros: They're really friendly at first and do a great job of following up with you, which is super helpful for keeping track of your schedule. | Cons: Working with Magic has its ups and downs. While it starts off pleasantly, I've found that their focus tends to be more on their cut of your salary. When it comes to screening clients or dealing with tricky schedules, you might find yourself on your own. Some clients can be a bit stingy, and getting help from Magic can sometimes feel like pulling teeth. It's all smiles when they need to pair you up with a client, but it's worth remembering that they take a hefty cut of your salary.

Pros: Good benefits, flexible work from home, good pay | Cons: Poorly managed, executives don't care about their employees. Everyone is just a number to the company's bottomline

One of the best ease-of-use authentication providers
Magic is one of the best ease-of-use authentication providers out there. Whether you're using email with link or code, SMS, SSO, or MFA, it's super easy to configure and implement in your application. While I am not actively using Magic for authentication I do highly recommend it for React and Next.js developers.
