I thought their escalation process was good and it uncovered lingering issues we needed to fix with our customers.

XACT helped the client save about 1.8 million in total, which is much more than the 1.3 million they intended to achieve. They quickly completed their calls after changing managers and offered concessions that established a great working relationship. | Highlights: I was impressed by how quickly they ramped up and once they changed PMs, how quickly the calls were getting completed. I also like that they provided me with # of hours used and # of hours remaining on a weekly basis, which allowed better planning and determining if a change order was going to be needed. They also gave some concessions, which was very help in establishing a great working relationship. I thought their escalation process was good and it uncovered lingering issues we needed to fix with our customers.

If you value your career and sanity, do not work here. Small company. Small thinking. Definitely bizarre.

Pros: Most employees are good, honest people who are trying to survive an abusive and toxic work environment. Decent location within the industrial park. Easy to get a job there. Continually hiring. | Cons: - Strategic thinking is non existent. - Decades old management style and practices of ruling by fear, intimidation and firings. - Employee turnover is very high. Both voluntary and terminations. Seemed to be a daily occurrence. HR is continually hiring and firing people in a revolving door of employee retention. - Nepotism and favouritism is rampant. The friends and family run the organization and rule by fear. Say the wrong thing to the wrong person and you will lose your job. - Compensation do not provide a living wage. Most have two to three jobs to make ends meet. - Their benefits are the bare minimum. - Both hourly and salaried employees do not get sick pay. - Any time off needs prior approval and available vacation time or no pay. - Want a cup of coffee? It's disgusting and you have to pay $.25 for a Keurig pod and hot water. - Bathrooms are always broken and are filthy. Toilet paper is deliberately hidden - so check before you need it. - Safety practices are an afterthought. Regardless of the pandemic, basic practices are not known or disregarded as an inconvenience.

Pros: Friendly colleagues and production staff | Cons: Poor management because it is a family owned business. When problems are encountered they would consume as much time as possible to find the culprit/ cause instead of teaming up to solve the problem. Very low low salary offer even for those who have credentials. Low salary increase not even enough for tax increases.
