DO NOT USE ELEVATION SOLAR - WON'T HONOR WARRANTY

DO NOT USE ELEVATION SOLAR!!! NOT HONORING WARRANTY FOR A FAULTY SOLAR SYSTEM THEY INSTALLED. IF YOU WANT TO SPEND TENS OF THOUSANDS OF $ ON A SOLAR SYSTEM YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED THAT THEY WILL NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTY OR WORK! I installed solar using Elevation Solar. In July of last year, my solar system, which is still under warranty had a faulty gateway which Enphase (manufacturer of solar) confirmed and shipped me a replacement part for Elevation to install. I filed a case (#00440432) and it has been almost 6 months without resolution or a path to resolution. It is certainly not for a lack of trying on my part. I have been following up weekly for the past 6 months and I keep getting the same excuse. That they are working on finding a sub to do the work. I highly doubt that is actually the case. I suspect they are giving me the run around in the hopes I go away. I called again today and just found out that in 6 months they only more than patient and reasonable in waiting 6 months without a properly functioning solar system especially one that is under warranty. They are quick to take your money but if something goes wrong they do not stand behind their work!

I decided to sign with elevation solar…

I decided to sign with elevation solar because they made a cheap offer. Big mistake. Since then, I have many many hours of my life trying to get them to deliver what they had discussed with me. They initially made an incomplete application for solar in california that was delayed indefinitely. After many hours of spending my time to help straighten things out (including finding appropriate city officials) I was finally able to get permission to operate. My plan was supposed to include EV chargers and it did not and despite their reassurances, they not only refused to install EV chargers, they also informed me that the solar system they have installed is INCAPABLE of having ev chargers. They charged me for labor and parts to install solar panel on my current electrical breaker panel and later they told me that I need to hire my own electrician to undo their installation and install a new solar capable breaker panel. Essentially, this company is there to get your money. They care zero about quality of their service or product or supporting their product once you have purchased it. They will never take responsibility for their mistakes and they will certainly not do right by you. I am writing this for the sole purpose of protecting my fellow citizens from being exploited by elevation solar. go with your local solar installer company. All my friends that did that are very happy and in retrospect I would have paid a lot more to go with a local responsible company.

I've had solar for over a year and it…

I've had solar for over a year and it has been an excellent investment. Most of my bills are close to zero and im avoiding inflation. I added a Tesla recently and saving even more on the gas cost. Elevation was effective and did a great job. I reccomend.
