Good place for short term work

Pros: -Nice coworkers -Kind and supportive boss -The work will teach you a lot about how to communicate -Fun job | Cons: -Rigid with their communication rules, which leads to unsatisfied customers. (People want to be spoken to like a person, not like an AI bot that is programmed to utter MUST SAY words or sentences) No possibility for career advancement Rigged bonus system. May as well pretend there is none.

Avoid avoid avoid [or] Take this as an in between job, but not for longer than a few months.

Pros: You start at 16/hr to take messages. | Cons: Everything. People over the phones are horrible, management doesn’t seem to care that you just got cussed out and need a couple minutes. There are no bonuses, no perks, nothing. Just a depressing atmosphere, with depressing people. Truly a “going nowhere” job. And don’t even think about accepting their health benefits - biggest joke I’ve ever seen.

Generally a good place to work to gain experience, not as a long term career.

Pros: Work from home, friendly and generally helpful team leads and supervisors. Possibility of moving up if you're good at what you do, but salary will not reflect the amount of work you contribute. Benefits. | Cons: The pay isn't the greatest and doesn't reflect your experience.

was okay

Pros: Work was ok, mgmt reasonably respectful | Cons: When they hired us for a remote contract, they said that there would be permanent roles available on a remote basis, but at the end of the contract, they said that all they had was in-office roles, requiring moving to Hamilton.

Owner is horrible

Pros: Can work from home or office | Cons: Management and owner, are filling their pockets, while the rest are barely given life jackets to stay afloat. Can't have an opinion. Pay is APPARENTLY, meeting the requirements, and is average. However, being a first responder as they may classify you, surely get paid like they are needed and appreciated. If you are male, don't think you will ever reach a senior level. The ONLY 2 that had, were never taken seriously by management, nor treated with the respect they deserved.

Needs better management

Pros: You can work remotely and the job is easy so long as staffing is sufficient. Dana Lloyd the Ceo is a magnificent person who truly cares about her employees. | Cons: My experience has been that there is unqualified leaders making a lot of mistakes in management which is leading employees to be overworked and under appreciated. Unfortunately the Ceo is not aware of the extent of the mismanagement that exist presently. As well there is too much favoritism and good employees go under the radar.

It's not giving.

Pros: - Supervisors are really nice and really understanding, they generallly will check in on you if you are going through a tough time and will help you manage your work with it. - Even for a WFH job the coworker relations are great. I always have a great time with my coworkers. - The pay is okay. - Clients can be really cool and I enjoy helping them most of the time. It does require a lot of patience and keeping your calm but I love doing what I do. -Its easy feeling welcome within the company. I went to a few events with the company and had an amazing time. | Cons: - Management is unresponsive. They send e-mails all day and won't respond to your urgent matters. They will leave you on delivered for months. They will work on your requests with a delay. - Schedules are apparently based on tenure, but this is not respected. Some people will get a fixed schedule some will not, your schedule changes all the time and they dont tell you. Good luck finding a routine. - Same thing for statutory holidays. They will give the day with time and a half very randomly even though they say its based on tenure. - The management is disorganized. It seems one person takes on more than they can do and it results in a lot of missed deadlines, lots of "we are working on it" and then we don't hear at all from said project for months. -Benefits where? - Rules about vacations are flip-floppy. -Prioritization of business needs over employee wellness.

It's ok

Pros: It's ok work from home, kind of boring mundane. Did inbound calls for a charity and callers were annoying, same thing over and over again. Tax season is a nightmare with people asking for their tax receipts and not enough staff to take calls. Interactive fun at Christmas and a $50 Christmas bonus from the owner. It's not the worst work form home job. | Cons: There's job security if they like you, they expect more with no real incentive don't expect good raises even with work promotion. Shift supervisor had alot of work to do and only made .25 cents more then regular full time employees. Not great motivation to stick around and grow with the company. You have to be friends with the operations manager to get ahead.
